Yes, like an Easter Egg. I would like to dye material but leave certain parts undyed to form patterns. I think it's thick enough that the dye won't seep in through the back of the fabric, but I'm just wondering if it would just seep in around the crayon lines.

Why do my melted crayons turn white?

We melted the old crayons in a tin can in a pot of water on the stove and poured them into our molds. Everything looks great until they cool. When they cool, there is a layer of white wax on the bottom- like the color separated from the wax. What are we doing wrong? Thanks!

When we opened the box, two green crayons were in there, but they were labeled copper and gold. We thought that was strange, but as we started coloring with them, we found they they WERE gold and copper, only BENEATH the green outer layer. Why did Crayola do this?
