use borax… wash… examine the clothes before drying… if they are still stained try soaking them overnight in the borax… then wash…. it worked for a silver crayons on white clothes… good luck

Put the article of clothing on the ironing board. Place a paper towel over the crayon mark and run it over with the hot iron. The hot crayon will blot into the paper towel. Repeat over and over each time with a fresh section of paper towel.

I had this happen. Wash the clothes in hot water and murphy’s oil soap. This will get the crayon out of the clothes. Soak a towel in hot water and murphy’s oil soap, wring it out and throw it in the dryer on high. Should only take about 20 minutes The towel will clean the dryer. Wash the towel in hot water and murphy’s oil soap. This really worked for me I thought I had lost an entire load of clothes and had no idea how to get the crayon out of the dryer.
Trust me on this it works and it works fast.

RE: Cleaning Crayon Out of Dryer
I used Colgate Luminous toothpaste and it took the black crayon residue right off that the magic eraser couldnt get off. Dryer is just like it didnt happen. I washed the pants that had the black crayon on it in HOT water and it took 100% of the crayon out of the jeans and maybe 50% of it out of my favorite work out pants but its ok they are only my gym pants right. I am just so happy it didnt happen to the light, white, or bright loads. Good luck everyone toothpaste who knew!

    Goo Gone

Goo gone, works on lots of things, but it has a HARSH oder and the chemical may not be the best thing for clothing, especially children’s. The best thing I can think of is an iron and wax paper of another (OLD) cloth to transfer the crayon too. This may be tedious, but your only shot. GOOD LUCK!

You won’t get the crayon out. In the future always check pockets and make sure you get all the crayon out of the dryer or you could end up losing the next load as well.

    Goo gone

Also to remove wax (if wax based, iron out on to butcher paper)
